Battery Testing

NISE offers battery testing facilities according to IS 13369, IS 15539, IS 1651, and IEC 61427.

The other kind of batteries taken up for testing are Tubular Lead Acid / VRLA / GEL / Li-ion / Ni-cd.

The following battery tests are:

Individual test

1. Capacity Test as per C/10 or C/20 rate, as applicable for the specific battery.
2. Efficiency Test (Ah & Wh).
3. Self-discharge Test
4. Endurance Test
5. Water loss test
6. Equilibrium Test ( to be accompanied with Water loss test)

Type Test as per IEC 61427 Standard
